What we find truly amazing about photography is the ability to capture a moment in time that will last forever.  To bring images from the farthest reaches of the Earth to the here and now.  To share the intricacies of nature with those who might not otherwise have the opportunity.  How many people have actually seen the facets of a dragonfly's eyes or the brilliant colors in the smallest of creatures?  Photography not only allows the photographer to experience such marvels, but also allows him to share those experiences with the world.
